Bo was 21 when he moved to Brondby, while there he played in European Champions League and won Danish League titles with them. He was the leading scorer with Brondby in the 1997/98 season with 12 goals before his move to the Reebok in a £1m deal. 
He made his first appearance for the Wanderers in a 0-0 draw against Birmingham in the 1998/99 season coming on as a sub. He scored his first for the Wanderers against Gillingham in the Worthington Cup
